Shayne Connolly, President of Connolly Group has been a licensed advisor since September 1996. He and his father, Steve Connolly, established Connolly Group in February of 1998 in Charlottetown, PEI.

Shayne specializes in Employee Benefit consulting as well as Individual and Corporate Life Insurance and Estate Planning at Connolly Group. He has been active in his industry having served for a number of years in the past on the provincial executive of Advocis, with three of those years as Provincial Chapter President. Shayne has never missed an Advocis Atlantic School since entering the business in 1996 and has been a member of the organizing committee since 2003, with 2019 marking his first year as Atlantic School Chair.

In the community, Shayne is a member of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation Board, was a member of the volunteer Revenue Generation Team for the 2023 Canada Winter Games held in PEI, was on the steering committee of the Prince Edward Island Open on the Fortinet Canadian Golf Tour.

A graduate of Acadia University, Shayne and his wife Lynn reside in Charlottetown and have two children, Matthew and Rylee.
