Tami has been developing her extensive career in the financial services industry since 2003. She has taken on a variety of roles including associate, advisor, and insurance sales director at the corporate level, winning a prize for the unique study group that was created amongst the advisors she supported.
These experiences have helped Tami discover her passion: helping clients minimize the overwhelming feelings associated with financial planning and risk management.
Tami has had many friends and family members face unexpected illness and injury; and has experienced firsthand the difference between being prepared, and not being prepared for an unplanned health event.
In 2022, Tami was her own first Critical Illness claim after being diagnosed with a brain tumor when her daughter was just one year old. After walking through that experience she is even more motivated to ensure others also have their financial house in order as tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone.
Tami’s main residence is in Victoria, BC. She has served on several boards including Edmonton Folk Music Festival, Advocis Edmonton, Advocis Banff School (Past Chair), Toastmasters and most recently the Cobble Hill Events Society (CHES). She’s volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society, Women in Leadership Foundation and for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Tami was an avid motorcyclist for over 20 years and enjoys concerts, camping & exploring with her family.
