Daryl has focused his career on helping retirees to make best use of their assets in order to realize the greatest amount of security and satisfaction during their retirement years. He is well-known among his peers as one of the first financial advisors in Canada to identify the special skills and knowledge required to address the needs of the retirement income market effectively and efficiently.

Of his 45 years in the financial services industry, the last 35 years were dedicated to the specialized area of retirement income planning.

He is a published author on the topic. “Your Retirement Income Blueprint”
was released in April 2011 and updated for re-release in 2014 and 2019, is a “Canadian Best Seller.” And, November 2020 saw the release of his companion book to Blueprint, “Retirement for the Record.”

In 2006 he presented at the Top of The Table annual meeting, addressed the MDRT annual meeting in 2009 as well as presenting at the MDRT Experience in Singapore in 2011. He has been a repeat guest on Business News Network, CBC, CTV Morning LIVE and CP24. In addition, he frequently provides content for financial writers and journalists across Canada.

After transitioning out of his practice in January 2023, he took on his new role as Chief Retirement Income Strategist with Dynamic Funds.
